Today,
we take you to the wilds of Western New York State to the Bigelow Bridge. The Bigelow Bridge is a truss bridge that once carried NY Route 240
over Cattaraugus Creek near Springville between Erie and Cattaraugus Counties. While the
bridge is no longer open to vehicular traffic, it remains open to
pedestrians and parallels the modern day bridge. Photos taken in October 2008 unless otherwise noted.
