Maybe new to Raleigh, but as the story says, NCDOT's has been putting them up since 2005.

Cmon, the new stretch of I-74 is days away from opening. Almost all the signage is up, the lines are paint and the permanant baricades at business 85 are down.

I will be shifting my I-73/74 pages to a new server. I can then use my contacts and newspaper searches to keep up. Not the most ideal of set ups, but I will be able to update news on I-73/74. NCDOT says the road was 96.8% on 10/31. The signs were put up this week after the road lines were painted the week before.
